A conference to mark the completion of the AHRC funded project, The Promotion of Live Music in the UK--a Historical, Cultural and Institutional Analysis, is to be held at St Cecilia&#039;s Hall, University of Edinburgh, Niddry Street, Cowgate, Edinburgh, EH1 1NQ, March 31-April 2, 2011.

There are 40 places available for this event.  Conference fee is £50 (£25 for students).  To register contact Simon Frith, Music, University of Edinburgh, Alison House, 12 Nicolson Square, Edinburgh EH28 8RH. [simon.frith@ed.ac.uk]  Cheques payable to The University of Edinburgh.
